New indoor/outdoor pool renovation underway at Resorts Casino Hotel

A new rooftop indoor/outdoor pool, which will be available for visitors to enjoy throughout the year, is set to be built at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

The renovation is currently underway with a completion date planned for late June of this year.

Once available for use, the facility will offer lounge areas as well as space for private parties and events. As part of the design, there will be a glass-enclosed pool enclosure with five retractable roof panels and four sets of sliding, stacking patio doors.

The HVAC system is also going to be overhauled to ensure the perfect temperature throughout the various seasons. In addition, the pool deck will be improved with new ceramic tiles, luxury furniture, a sound system, televisions and a full bar.

Resorts Casino Hotel was constructed in 1978 and is managed by Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment Property.

It celebrated its 40th anniversary in May 2018 at the same time as completing an upgrade on all technology and agreeing on a new partnership deal with SBTech to provide its sportsbook solutions across on-property, online and mobile channels in New Jersey.

Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment took over the management of Resorts Casino Hotel in 2012. The venue sits on 21 acres and offers 942 guest rooms and suites in two hotel towers, an 80,000 square foot casino, two theatres and 10 restaurants. Guests can also enjoy shopping, spa and health club facilities.
