Leeds United has announced a new partnership with Unibet which will see the brand become the Club’s new Official Training Wear partner from the beginning of the 23/24 football season.

Previously Leeds United was sponsored by 32Red, with Unibet and 32Red both owned by Kindred Group.

Unibet branding will feature on the Men’s First Team and Women’s Team Training Wear along with the Men’s First Team coaching staff.

Leeds United will play in the Championship this season, having been relegated from the Premier League at the end of the last campaign. Sponsorship from gambling companies within football has been a hot topic recently, with the Premier League voting to ban gambling companies from being a front-of-shirt sponsor from the start of the 26/27 season.

This year, Unibet also launched into the metaverse. The new feature allows customers to enter the metaverse and interact with a number of sports and casino game challenges

Sam Mead, UK Head of Marketing at Kindred Group, commented: “We are delighted to be linking up with Leeds United once again through this new partnership. Our model of sponsorship provides benefits to both clubs and their communities – something we will drive forward throughout the season.”

Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United, added: “We are pleased to welcome Unibet as our new Official Training Wear Partner. We have previously enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Kindred Group through their 32Red brand who were on the Front of Shirt when we were promoted as Championship Champions at the end of the 2019-20 season.”
