Genting Americas East has appointed Walter Bogumil as its new CFO, with his remit now covering Resorts World’s property in New York City, along with Resorts World Catskills, Resorts World Hudson Valley in upstate New York, Resorts World Bimini in the Bahamas and the Hilton Miami Downtown in Florida.
Robert DeSalvio, President of Genting Americas East, said of the new CFO: “Bogumil has a strong track record of delivering results and creating measurable value for companies in the leisure, hospitality and gaming industries.
“Bogumil’s experience and acumen will help us unlock growth opportunities and further strengthen operational efficiency. Bogumil is uniquely qualified to lead our finance team and I am pleased to welcome him to our leadership team.”
Meanwhile, Bogumil further commented on his new role: “Genting Americas East has quickly grown into an industry leader operating some of the most successful gaming venues in the world.
“I am delighted to join this world-class team and support the execution of Genting Americas East’s growth strategy that combines operational excellence, innovation, and proven hospitality principles.”
Bogumil gained experience in other financial roles while working for Sea World, Affinity Gaming and Penn National Gaming before becoming CFO at Concert Golf Partners.
Furthermore, he has a degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in business administration from Rollins College.
