Supplier Sportingtech has appointed Michael Jack as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Prior to his appointment at Sportingtech, Jack held a similar role of CTO at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).
He first joined GiG in 2019, where he worked as a Director of Architecture, before moving on to Director of Engineering and finally CTO.
Jack has also worked as Head of Architecture at SG Digital, now known as Light & Wonder, as well as Principal Technologist at OpenBet.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Sportingtech said: “We're thrilled to introduce our new Chief Technology Officer, Michael Jack, with over 15 years of industry experience.
“Michael's impressive career speaks to his expertise in driving success for Tier 1 operators and World Lottery Association (WLA) members.
"Michael's track record of leading large-scale projects and reshaping company cultures will be invaluable.”
In the last few years, Sportingtech has made a number of deals in the LatAm market, including a partnership to deliver its Quantum sportsbook platform to operators in Brazil.
Additionally, Sportingtech partnered with Evoplay for its library of games that had proven popular in LatAm countries.
The spokesperson continued: “As CTO, he'll drive our tech advancements, keeping us at the forefront of emerging markets and fueling our growth in Brazil and Latin America.
Speaking of LatAm, Odds On Compliance has launched its PlayBook Brazil product, which contains compliance and regulatory documents for the country.
