Palmer, a full-back, becomes the fourth player from the Championship to be sponsored by MightyTips.com, following previous agreements with Lewis Travis of Blackburn Rovers, Dimitrios Goutas of Cardiff City, and Scott High from Huddersfield Town AFC.

MightyTips.com says that the sponsorship of Palmer for the 2023/24 season aims to increase brand visibility and foster stronger connections with English football fans and the broader British sports community.

"We are excited to announce Liam Palmer as our latest sponsored player,” says Eugene Ravdin, Communications and Marketing Manager at MightyTips.com.

“We look forward to seeing him on the field as Sheffield Wednesday strives to establish themselves in the Championship after their recent promotion. The Championship offers us valuable opportunities for reaching out to fans and enhancing engagement."

Palmer is currently Sheffield Wednesday’s longest-serving player with over 350 appearances since his debut in the first team in 2010. During his time at the club, he had a loan spell with Tranmere Rovers during the 2012/13 season.

Furthermore, to increase its brand visibility within the UK, MightyTips.com has been actively forming partnerships with prominent names in the football industry.

Ravdin recently spoke to the GI Huddle about the strategy of partnering with specific players.
