Industry giant Aristocrat has revealed its FY2023 report, covering September 2022 to September 2023. During this time the company was able to amass operating revenue of AU$6.3bn (US$4.1bn), with EBITDA of AU$2.1bn.

Overall results show growth in all metrics. Based on normalised results (results made without factoring certain significant items), operating revenue had the least significant growth at 13% from FY2022, while the most notable growth came from earnings per share at over 26%.

These are still all very healthy numbers, however.

Stock prices currently sit at AU$39.48, a drop of AU$1.14 from this time last week. From trading close yesterday, stock prices have gone down a marginal 1%.

Aristocrat has associated a portion of its FY2023 earnings with the AU$143.3m increase in post-tax profit for the Americas, with North America driving this profit due to Aristocrat's 26% increase in North American Outright Sales units. Class III Premium and Class II Gaming Operations installed grew above 64,000 units, accounting for an 8% base growth.

Class III growth was also seen in Asia and Europe. Asia specifically has seen significant growth across all gaming sectors following the lifting of many Covid-19 restrictions, with places like Macau seeing revenue up 400% Y-O-Y in October.

The past year has also been one of many partnerships, appointments and product launches for Aristocrat. During the accounted for September – September period, the company appointed a new CFO and was announced as the official slot machines of this weekend's F1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix among other achievements.

On the results, Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker said: “I’m proud of the high-quality result that we are announcing today. The growth that Aristocrat delivered over the period demonstrates the ongoing resilience, competitiveness and diversification of our portfolio, and sound fundamentals in the markets in which we operate.”

Aristocrat also took home three trophies at last month's Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas
