Longhurst comes to the role following a year as Managing Director of SportingTech, with previous roles in companies including Pronet Gaming and SBTech. He described joining EveryMatrix “at this stage of growth” as something he “was very keen to do and I am delighted to be on board.”
The announcement is one of several shake-ups to EveryMatrix’s executive team in the past few weeks. On 18 January Stian Hornsletten was announced to be taking on the role of CEO of Games, moving away from his former role as Group CCO. Longhurst will be replacing him in this position.
Not only this, but two days prior Nikolina Gabelica was appointed as Head of Lottery at the company, coming to the role with more than 20 years of experience in senior and Chair roles at companies including the Croatian Lottery and The European Lotteries.
Longhurst comes to EveryMatrix with over 15 years of experience in varying roles, with work experience including three years at a venture capital firm as Director, Business Intelligence and as the Owner & CEO of his own human capital acquisition company, Farrell Longhurst. He held this role for over seven and a half years, before coming into his first gambling sector role in January 2017.

Longhurst continued, saying: “I’m looking forward to leading EveryMatrix’s commercial strategy with some very exciting projects in the pipeline.”
