Stake, the online and crypto betting site, has partnered with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to become the new official betting partner of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup. Before agreeing to the deal, ITF performed its due diligence to make sure the platform followed its betting sponsorship rules, following the outline established in consultation with the International Tennis Integrity Agency.

Stake’s partnership with the ITF follows partnerships with a wide range of other sports bodies. In August 2022, Stake became the principal partner of Mumbai City FC and partnered with the European Cricket Championship, with the company continuing the partnership the following year.

Recently, the company also announced its partnership with the F1, with Alfa Romeo rebranding as Stake F1 Team in early January. Stake Co-Founder Edward Craven said he was “thrilled with the opportunity” and that “we are now ideally positioned to take the team to unprecedented heights from 2024 and beyond.”

The ITF was formed over 100 years ago in 1913, designed to provide long-term sustainability and growth opportunities for tennis. The partnership with Stake was in part facilitated by Sportradar, the sports data partner for the ITF and partner with the ATP Challenger Tour.

On the partnership, Stake CMO Akhil Sarin said: “We are delighted and extremely proud to become the official betting partner of the Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup. Tennis is a universally popular sport and these competitions are two of the most passionately followed across the globe.

“We look forward to some exciting initiatives spread across the tennis calendar and working with the ITF to promote the sport to our worldwide audience.”

Stake currently offers crypto betting services in certain territories, though currently only accepts fiat bets in the UK.
