Supplier Sportradar has entered into a multi-year deal with Tennis Data Innovations (TDI) to provide sports data, streaming rights and media data rights for use during the ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour.

TDI, a joint venture between ATP and ATP Media, is a central management company for tennis data across markets for both betting and non-betting purposes. With the collaboration now in place, Sportradar will be able to provide its services to the ATP, as it does with several other notable sporting leagues.

Having collaborated and partnered with sports leagues including the NBA, NHL and NASCAR, Sportradar is no stranger to sharing its sports data and solutions.

In the case of the ATP, Sportradar will be providing Integrity Services to all of the events on the two tours, to safeguard against betting-related match-fixing and corruption. This will be done through monitoring and addressing integrity threats via investigation support and due diligence.

Sportradar was founded in 2001 and operates in territories across the globe. Its partnerships include acting as the official services provider for Caribbean CAGE and as a safeguarding solutions provider for DerbyWheel, among other high-profile sports.

It also recently announced Jim Bombassei as SVP, Investor Relations and Corporate Finance, who comes to the company with experience including 30 years at Viacom.

On the partnership with the ATP, Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl said: “This truly collaborative partnership will result, through the application of technologies such as computer vision and AI, in the creation of engaging products and services as part of our ATP Service+ offering.

“This will allow us to effectively monetise the relationship while delivering new ways for bettors and fans to experience the sport of tennis.”
