The MMA promotion Oktagon MMA can now be wagered on in the UK via operator Sky Bet.

This is not the first time in the UK fans of the MMA promotion have been able to bet on it, with William Hill already offering fans the opportunity to do so; but this latest move does help to open up the market even further.

Oktagon MMA has been growing its presence in the UK with its first ever show taking place in November 2023 at the AO Arena in Manchester. Since then, it has also taken place at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle in January and at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham in April.

UK fans can place their first bet on Sky Bet for the next Oktagon tournament for the event in Prague at the Fortuna Arena for Oktagon 58 for the rematch between Karlos Vemola and Attila Vegh.

Oktagon MMA Co-Owner Pavol Neruda said: “We are really pleased that our fanbase in the UK and Ireland can now engage even further with Oktagon MMA.

“Sky Bet is an extremely well-respected platform, and this exemplifies the growth of Oktagon MMA in the UK and Ireland, a market where we have dedicated significant effort to expand, and shine a light on up-and-coming MMA talent.”

In other news from Sky Bet, the operator recently joined together with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to launch ‘Every Minute Matters’ in an effort to urge more people to learn life-saving CPR.
