Tipico becomes DFB-Pokal official partner

Tipico has been named the new official partner of the DFB-Pokal in Germany for both men and women.

The DFB-Pokal is the main cup competition in Germany, most recently won by Bayer Leverkusen in the men’s game and Wolfsburg in the women’s game.

Through this deal, which is set to run until 30 June 2026, Tipico will be allowed to advertise using the logos of the two cup competitions.

During matches, the sports betting operator’s logo will be included on advertising boards, while also visible on digital channels of the two competitions and the German Football Association (DFB).

DFB GmbH & Co. KG Chairman of the Management Board Dr. Holger Blask said: “We welcome Tipico as a new partner for the DFB Cup competitions for women and men. We are looking forward to new engagement in the context of the two traditional competitions with their finals in Cologne and Berlin.

“In partnership, we also want to continue and intensify our extensive efforts to promote responsible gaming.”

Tipico Director of Marketing Acquisition Kajetan Strini-Brown added: “With the DFB on our side, we are now playing in the same team as co-partner of the DFB Pokal and strengthening our role as the largest sports betting provider in German football.

“The DFB Pokal, known for its dramatic matches and surprising twists and turns, is also a perfect fit for Tipico, as we always strive to offer our customers an emotional, exciting and safe sports betting experience.”

In related news at the start of May, there were reports that William Hill was set to become the new title sponsor of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).
