Abios, part of Kambi Group, has entered into a partnership with Brazilian daily fantasy sports operator Rei do Pitaco (RDP) to enhance RDP’s fantasy esoccer offerings.
Under this agreement, Abios will provide esoccer streams, probabilities and widgets to RDP.
Abios’ esoccer product covers more than 11,000 matches monthly and uses real-time data from rights holders alongside automated modelling. This service has been part of the Kambi network since November 2023.
Anton Janér, Abios Managing Director, stated: “We are delighted to have signed this long-term partnership with Rei do Pitaco to power fantasy esoccer for millions of players across Brazil, providing 24/7 content that perfectly complements their existing DFS offer. Rei do Pitaco’s passion for providing customers with engaging products mirrors our own and we are excited to be working closely with them to deliver next generation esports experiences.”
Kiko Augusto, RDP COO and Co-Founder, remarked: “We are pleased to be expanding our relationship with the Kambi Group through this partnership with Abios. We are always looking to enhance the range of products we offer to our customers and integrating Abios’ esoccer product is a move which makes complete sense."
Kambi, which acquired Abios in August 2021, has integrated Abios’ esoccer odds product into its sportsbook platform, supporting pre-match and in-play trading, automated fixture bookings and margin management.
In previous developments, Abios has expanded its product offerings to include other events such as ebasketball, Counter-Strike and League of Legends.
RDP's collaboration with Abios is also set against the backdrop of regulatory changes in Brazil, with RDP planning to expand into sports betting as regulations allow.
