Pennsylvania Lottery and IWG introduce new ‘EZ eInstants’ category
Pennsylvania Lottery launches simplified instant play games, called ‘EZ eInstants,’ in partnership with IWG.
The Pennsylvania Lottery has partnered with Instant Win Gaming (IWG) to launch a new category of eInstant games called ‘EZ eInstants.’
This new category, part of IWG’s eFastPlay, aims to broaden the appeal of the Lottery’s online program by offering simplified instant play experiences.
The initial launch includes three games: Prospector’s Gold Rush, Firework Fortune Frenzy and Treasure Tomb. Additional games are expected to be released in the coming months. These games are integrated through IWG’s InstantRGS (remote game server), which required no additional development support from the iLottery platform provider.
IWG has incorporated a linked jackpot feature across all EZ eInstants games, powered by IWG’s InstantJackpots technology. This allows players to compete for larger, cumulative prizes.
Drew Svitko, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Lottery, stated: “We’re very excited for our new EZ eInstant category to go live.
“These games, provided by IWG, will be a great addition to our existing portfolio, offering up new experiences that cast a wider net of gameplay appeal and in turn, create incremental revenues for older Pennsylvanians. We have several EZ eInstant games in our future release plans and we cannot wait to see how players respond to this new category.”

These EZ eInstants will cater to a specific group of Lottery players, providing the Pennsylvania Lottery with an opportunity to engage with new players for their iLottery program.”
In February 2024, IWG partnered with Allwyn, a multinational lottery operator, to enhance Allwyn’s gaming portfolio. This partnership involves Allwyn acquiring a 70% stake in IWG, with the deal expected to close in the second half of 2024.
Additionally, in October 2023, IWG collaborated with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to launch the Set for Life game on PlayNow.com, further expanding its presence in the North American market.
