Gaming supplier Beter has announced a new partnership agreement which will see the provision of its ESportsBattle tournament offerings to online and retail sportsbook operator – Codere.
With pre-existing market presence in both LatAm and Spain, Codere will now integrate Beter’s eFootball and eBasketball offerings, through the ESportsBattle brand, as it looks to further enhance its own customer offerings. This latest development comes in the wake of Codere’s Q2 2024 results, in which the company reported a positive EBITDA and net gaming revenue (NGR) rise of 39% to €51.7m ($56.1m). Now, it will be hoping that this latest deal will help build on these positive financial results.
Commenting on the latest development, Codere Sportsbook Operations manager, Sergio Garcia, said: “Beter has quickly become the leading provider of fast-betting content and we absolutely wanted to leverage the demand for its ESportsBattle series by offering it to our players.
“Beter’s existing products are second to none and we are already seeing high levels of engagement from our players. Our teams are looking forward to fruitful results soon.”
For Beter, this latest development closely follows the supplier’s first partnership agreement with an African operator – as it penned a new deal with SportyBet last month. This arrangement will see the provision of both sports and esports content. Further, also in July, the company announced the appointment of a new CCO, Alina Mihaela.
Beter CEO, Gal Ehrlich, spoke on the Codere partnership, saying: “We are delighted to add Codere to our growing roster of big-name operators using our fast-betting content to engage the next generation of players and deliver the betting experiences they are seeking.
“Our esports products offer non-stop betting on the most popular disciplines such as eFootball and eBasketball, which Codere can now use to strengthen its content offering to players.”
