Key points:
- The new partnership arrangement is centred around live number draws content
- SIS content will now be distributed across multiple African nations by the operator
Sports Information Services (SIS) has brokered a new partnership with 888Africa for the integration of its live numbers offerings to the operator’s platform.
The collaboration has been assisted by a region-specific iFrame incepted with Bitville Gaming and will see SIS’ full portfolio of 200,000 live draw titles – including 49’s live draw, 39’s and Fast 15’s – go live on the 888Africa platform. 888Africa is currently live in the nations of Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia via 888bet.
Earlier this month, SIS also entered an Africa-based gaming distribution partnership with Instasolutions. Now, the supplier will be hoping that the addition of this latest company to its African portfolio will help to enhance its outreach across the continent’s fast-developing gambling market.
Joe Andrews, Head of Sales Africa at SIS, spoke on the latest news, saying: “The appetite for live numbers draws in Africa has grown rapidly and partnering with 888AFRICA will significantly increase our product visibility. Bitville Gaming has great reach in the region, and we are thrilled that our partnership is already delivering the widest range of content to operators.”
Good to know: SIS is currently in a phase of expansion, as it also launched with Superbet in Europe and South America last month
After acquiring BetLion in August 2023, 888Africa has more recently gone on to enter a sports betting-based collaborative deal with SL Benfica in Angola and Mozambique.
Now, the operator will be hoping this latest agreement will further enhance its gaming options for players across the continent.
888Africa COO, Ian Marmion, commented on the new partnership: “Our ability to widen our offering to our partners is always important to us, and the portfolio of live numbers draws from SIS will provide a huge boost in maximising engagement.
"The content is a proven performer across Africa and I am sure our audiences will welcome this enhancement to our offering.”
