MGM Resorts International has signed a Whole Portfolio Agreement (WPA) with technology company Cisco.
Through this deal, MGM Resorts will have access to most of Cisco’s software portfolio, which includes cybersecurity, software defined networking, software defined-WAN, digital experience assurance, full-stack observability, data centre and services. It also includes Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) services.
The pair have worked together previously and, with this WPA, MGM Resorts will see the automation of its network as it looks to further improve guest engagement while also ensuring uptime and security. It is also hoped that this deal will support the operator's sustainability goals.
MGM Resorts Chief Technology Officer Branden Newman said: "Guests expect world-class hospitality from MGM Resorts, and technology helps us deliver.
"The new agreement with Cisco will give our employees the technology, speed and agility they need as we continue to deliver amazing guest experiences at all MGM Resorts' destinations."
