FanDuel has announced a new partnership with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL).
As the league’s official sportsbook partner and exclusive in-app streaming partner in the US, the collaboration provides improved access to hockey fans, enabling them to watch and bet on PWHL games through a single platform.
Through this collaboration, FanDuel will stream up to 90 PWHL regular-season games and playoffs live on its app, giving fans the convenience of watching and wagering on one platform.
Commenting on the new deal, Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, stated: "FanDuel is proud to partner with the PWHL and support the league's incredible athletes. This partnership is about creating a new era of fan engagement – one that brings hockey closer to fans while helping grow the visibility of women's professional sports.”
Good to know: Betting options will include player prop bets, novelty markets and same-game parlays
FanDuel has also emphasised responsible gaming as an important part of the partnership, providing fans with a range of tools to manage their betting activities, including deposit and wager limits.
This collaboration is the newest in a series of recent sporting partnerships for FanDuel, with the company also striking up a deal with Euroleague Basketball last month.
As part of this Euroleague partnership, one game from each round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season will be broadcast exclusively in the US on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+ (FanDuel’s free OTT platform).
