Paddy Power raises over £1m for Prostate Cancer UK through Bigger 180 campaign

Paddy Power has confirmed its Bigger 180 campaign has raised over £1m ($1.2m) for Prostate Cancer UK during the ongoing World Darts Championship. The campaign donates £1,000 for every 180 scored, in addition to £60,000 for each nine-dart finish achieved at the event.
The milestone follows two perfect legs recorded during the tournament, with each triggering the £180,000 bonus split between the charity, the player and a randomly selected fan in attendance.
The campaign’s goal is to combine charitable giving with raising awareness about prostate cancer screenings through Prostate Cancer UK’s Transform Trial initiative.
The latest announcement builds on earlier contributions made by Paddy Power through the Bigger 180 initiative. In December 2024, Christian Kist’s nine-darter added £60,000 to the charity’s total, alongside donations to Kist and a fan in the audience.

The Bigger 180 campaign also includes support from six-time Olympic cycling champion Chris Hoy, who joined as an ambassador in December 2024. This year’s effort builds on Paddy Power’s previous Big 180 campaign, which raised £1m in 2023, including a donation match to round up the total.
