Kambi Group has appointed Mattias Frithiof as its new SVP Investor Relations & Sustainability.

Frithiof comes to the role with over 15 years of experience in investor relations and finance, with his most recent position being as the Head of Investor Relations at audiobook and e-book streaming services company Storytel.

As mentioned, his experience has also taken him into the financial sector, working with companies such as Moody’s and Swedbank.

With Kambi, Frithiof will oversee the supplier’s investor relations strategy, while he will also give insights into its financial performance and growth strategy to the analyst and shareholder communities, and lead Kambi’s corporate responsibility (CSR) strategy.

Kambi CFO David Kenyon said: “We are delighted to welcome Mattias to Kambi. His extensive experience in investor relations, coupled with his strong financial background, will be invaluable as we seek to create greater shareholder value.

Good to know: Kambi earlier this week announced Brian Dean as its Chief People Officer, a newly created role to improve the supplier’s global workforce strategy

“As we continue to strengthen our position as a leader in the global sports betting market, Mattias will play a key role in ensuring our investor communications and sustainability initiatives remain best-in-class and aligned with our strategic goals.”  Frithiof himself added: “I am delighted to join Kambi at an exciting time for the company and to be part of its next phase of development.

“I look forward to building upon Kambi's close relations with investors and other stakeholders, further establishing an IR department that matches Kambi’s high standards and ambition.”

In other personnel news, Pam Bergin has announced that she will be leaving her position as Gambling Awareness Trust CEO after over five years with the charity.
