Monumental Sports Network introduces betting features for Capitals and Wizards streams

Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) has announced the launch of real-time sports betting and gamification features on its streaming app, Monumental+ (M+), for Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards games.
This initiative, made possible through partnerships with Play Anywhere and BetMGM, marks the first local sports streaming experience outside of Las Vegas to integrate live betting odds and interactive gaming elements
The newly introduced “Monumental Game Center” offers viewers an interactive experience, allowing them to opt in for real-time betting odds, in-game player statistics, live analytics and gamification options such as trivia and predictive polls.
Fans streaming the games on the M+ app will see prompts displaying BetMGM’s live odds and will have the option to engage in in-app gaming features. Those opting to place wagers will be redirected to the BetMGM platform.
Monumental+ users will also get access to an upgraded streaming experience, including multi-view functionality, alternate camera angles and simultaneous game streaming options.
The new features will be available to both direct-to-consumer subscribers and those accessing M+ through their TV providers.
