FanDuel has announced that nearly half of its customers engaged with its ‘My Spend’ responsible gaming dashboard during the 2024/25 NFL season.
The tool, which provides users with personalised insights into their betting activity, was utilised by approximately 3.5 million customers, demonstrating growing awareness and adoption of responsible gaming (RG) tools.
My Spend allows users to track their deposits, betting activity and net winnings over various timeframes, aiming to help them manage their spending habits.
Good to know: To encourage engagement, FanDuel launched a dedicated My Spend advertising campaign during the NFL playoffs across television, digital and social media platforms; consumer research indicated that 75% of customers who viewed the campaign found the tool useful for tracking and managing their betting activity
In response to the success of My Spend, FanDuel has also introduced Deposit Alerts, a new RG feature that enables customers to set daily, weekly and monthly budget targets. Users receive notifications when they reach their pre-set limits.
Commenting on these developments, Jill Watkins, Senior Commercial Director of Responsible Gaming at FanDuel stated: "We want our customers to know what they are spending and to ensure they are within their comfort zone.
“Since the launch of My Spend, we've seen a meaningful rise in engagement with tools that give our customers the ability to create a personalised plan to manage their play.”
In related news, FanDuel recently announced a partnership with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). As the official sportsbook and in-app streaming partner, FanDuel now offers live streaming of up to 90 PWHL regular-season and playoff games.
