- The system includes biometric registration, facial recognition, Player Tracking Modules and loyalty rewards
Casino Estoril has successfully implemented the Novovision casino management system, marking the second rollout of the technology within the Estoril Sol Group following its launch at Casino Lisboa in December 2024.
The transition aims to enhance operational efficiency and player experience, providing features for security, customer interaction and gaming floor management.
In particular, the introduction of Novovision brings several enhancements, including biometric registration for player access, facial recognition at live tables and player tracking modules on all electronic gaming machines.
The system also includes promotional tools such as the Novovision Promo Tower, which rewards player engagement with loyalty incentives.
Good to know: The system’s implementation was carried out while the casino remained fully operational and was completed within one week
Commenting on the development, Dr Bruno Ferreira, Gaming Manager and Coordinator for Casinos Lisboa and Estoril, stated: “With this implementation, Estoril Sol completes the systems migration in both properties. System-wise we have a robust solution and will be able to transform our customers’ journey and experience. The migration process was once again quick and efficient.”
George Paterakis, Project Manager at Novomatic Biometric Systems, added: “Seeing Novovision in operation in these renowned casinos is very gratifying for our entire team.
"The joint effort that was put into this project both by our development teams and the experts at Estoril Sol has yielded a highly customised solution for the unique requirements of these operations – and I am truly proud to say that we were able to fulfil every wish."
