International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its subsidiary, IGT Lottery, has earned the European Lotteries (EL) responsible gaming certification for the sixth consecutive year.
The certification recognises the supplier's commitment to responsible gaming practices, preventing underage gambling and supporting players who need assistance.
IGT Lottery has also obtained Level 4 certification from the World Lottery Association (WLA), the highest possible designation.
The certification process involved an extensive evaluation of IGT Lottery’s responsible gaming tools and activities in Italy. This included a rigorous evaluation of IGT Lottery’s responsible gaming practices, tools and activities, all of which passed in ten key areas.
These ten evaluated areas included player protection, problem gambling prevention and adherence to international regulations. IGT plans to continue innovating to protect its people, products and processes.
