Metric Gaming has launched a sportsbook product in the UK in partnership with BetZone.
For this deal, BetZone will rely on Metric’s proprietary horseracing products and platforms to create a customisable sportsbetting product.
The two companies first partnered together last summer as they signalled their intent to begin this project.
Not long afterwards, Metric Gaming signed a deal with BetComply to ensure that its products in the UK and Netherlands were compliant with all regional regulations.
Speaking of the ever-changing laws in Britain, the Gambling Commission has recently changed what kind of promotions operators can offer new players, as well as the maximum wagering requirements that can be imposed.
Adam Joseph, BetZone COO, said: “In a particularly crowded market such as the UK, working with Metric has enabled us to build a unique proposition that we’re confident will resonate with our target market, and existing customers.”
Good to know: Last year, Metric deployed sportsbooks in the Netherlands that were developed alongside Bragg Gaming and Betnation
Also in 2024, Metric Gaming became a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), joining over 150 other companies.
Keith Hayes, Metric Gaming CEO, said: "We’re proud to have been trusted by BetZone to power their UK sportsbook.
“Another flawless launch, promising early numbers and a sleek, lightning-fast site with even more upgrades on the way.
“We're especially excited to debut our in-house horseracing product and to be able to do it in our home market."
