Aruze Gaming Global (AG2) has announced the appointment of Mike Sands as SVP of Sales for its North American and Latin American operations. The company confirmed the appointment on 16 April, citing Sands’ two decades of experience in gaming sales and commercial leadership.
Sands has held senior roles at multiple major suppliers, including WMS, Bally Technologies and Aristocrat, where he served for five years as VP of Sales, overseeing both Class II and Class III gaming divisions.
His remit at AG2 will include driving regional sales strategies, overseeing client relationships and supporting the company’s ongoing expansion across the Americas.

In November 2023, Aruze Gaming Global named Betty Zhao as SVP of International Operations. That announcement followed a period of restructuring at Aruze, which included a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and the subsequent acquisition of its land-based and online assets by Play Synergy.
