Key points:

- Prairie Flower Casino has partnered with Signature Systems to upgrade its POS system after a major facility expansion

- The 70,000 square foot casino now features tablets and kiosks to enhance guest service and efficiency

- This is SSI’s first gaming conversion in Iowa and part of its broader outreach to tribal casino operators

Prairie Flower Casino, owned by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, has partnered with Signature Systems (SSI) to modernise its point-of-sale (POS) infrastructure following a major facility expansion.

Located in Carter Lake, the newly expanded Prairie Flower Casino now spans 70,000 square feet – an increase of 700% – and required a POS system capable of supporting its expanded operations and high guest volume.

SSI implemented a hardware rollout – including mobile tablets and self-service kiosks – aimed at enhancing service speed and flexibility across the casino’s food and beverage outlets.

Commenting on the development, Raymond Bertschy, Director of Food and Beverage at Prairie Flower Casino, stated: “When we were evaluating the best possible vendors and partners for Prairie Flower Casino, SSI stood out to us.

“SSI’s POS had the features we were looking for, but their reputation for reliability was the key factor in our decision.

“This casino will serve guests every hour of every day, and we want them all to have the kind of experience that makes them want to come back.”

John White, Executive Vice President and CTO at SSI, added: “Prairie Flower Casino marks our first gaming partner in Iowa, but adds to a growing list of tribal properties that have been underserved in their POS needs.

“We’re proud to have served The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska in helping them to actualise their vision for their expansion. We look forward to our continued partnership and the continued success of their casino.”

This advancement follows a string of recent technology partnerships, including Silver Reef Casino Resort's implementation of AI-powered analytics via Gaming Analytics last week.
