ToonieBet unveils its mobile sportsbook in Ontario

Key points:

– The ToonieBet platform has launched its mobile sportsbook app in Ontario

– This update comes closely following the platform’s launch in the province

– A new sportsbook section has also been added to the ToonieBet website

Soft2Bet’s Ontarian online casino and sportsbook subsidiary, ToonieBet, has launched its sportsbook app in Canada’s only regulated market.

Following this launch, the ToonieBet sportsbook will be available on both the Apple App and Google Play stores, allowing players to access its offerings via the mobile platform

As part of the offering, wagerers in the province can access real-time betting on local and international sporting events. Also revealed as part of this launch, the ToonieBet platform has seen the introduction of a sportsbook section to its official website.

Speaking on this latest release, Yoel Zuckerberg, Soft2Bet’s Chief Product Officer said: “As Soft2Bet continues our rapid growth, we are excited to provide Ontario players with access to ToonieBet’s sportsbook which is now available on the Apple App and Google Play Store, offering seamless access to a customised experience tailored for the province’s passionate gaming community.”

Indeed, following Soft2Bet’s entry into Ontario in March 2024, this latest launch comes shortly after ToonieBet’s appointment as the official online casino partner of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators last month, news that was broken exclusively via Gambling Insider.

Good to know: Soft2Bet has set its sights on North American expansion during 2025, also launching its iGaming brand in New Jersey during March

This latest launch was constructed in collaboration with Caesars and came following recent regulatory approvals in both Spain and Greece.

Since regulation in 2022, the Ontarian market has grown into one of the strongest in the North American landscape – with an RGC survey from earlier this year revealing that over 75% of Ontarians plan on betting on major sporting events during 2025.
