Key points:

- Evolution debuts Red Door Roulette in the US, starting with New Jersey and Delaware

- The game blends features from Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time

- The launch supports Evolution’s 2025 US growth strategy for live online casino gaming

Evolution has launched Red Door Roulette in New Jersey and Delaware, marking the US debut of the live casino game show that merges elements from the company's Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time titles.

Initially introduced to global markets in 2023, the game features bonus rounds and real-time multiplier rewards through a slot-based gateway to the Crazy Time bonus wheel.

The launch is part of Evolution’s broader strategy to grow its live dealer and game show portfolio across regulated North American markets.

Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America, said: “Following the game’s success internationally, we look forward to seeing how players in New Jersey and Delaware embrace this unique game. This is just the first phase of our tremendous live game roadmap for 2025.”

Red Door Roulette follows a series of developments for the company in 2025. In April, Evolution reported a 3.9% year-on-year revenue increase for Q1 to €520.9m ($592.1m). However, profits declined by 5.4% to €254.7m and EBITDA fell 1.1% to €342m. Live gaming continued to be the company’s main revenue source, generating €448.7m during the quarter.

Good to know: The game will become available in other US jurisdictions in the coming months, according to the company

Regionally, North America ranked third in revenue behind Asia and Europe, but remains a focus for Evolution. In Q1, the company opened its third live casino studio in New Jersey and entered into a content partnership with Hard Rock.

The release of Red Door Roulette also arrives after Evolution continues to balance expansion with increased oversight, especially following the Gambling Commission’s inquiry into its licence earlier this year.

Despite a slower start to the year, Evolution has reiterated confidence in its second-half outlook, citing a robust pipeline of new live game content and expanded US market activity.
