Key points:
- Buzz Bingo has hit its £200,000 target for the Stroke Association
- Charity games raised additional funds during Stroke Awareness Month
- The initiative includes live bingo sessions, community events and exclusive product sales
Buzz Bingo has achieved its three-year fundraising goal of £200,000 ($268,000) in support of the Stroke Association. The partnership culminated in a series of charity games and events designed to support stroke survivors and raise awareness of the condition’s impact.
Each Thursday in May 2025, Buzz Bingo is hosting games during its live bingo sessions, played across paper and touchscreen platforms. These are expected to raise an additional £30,000, surpassing the original goal. All stakes, minus prizes and tax, are donated directly to the Stroke Association.
In addition to the bingo sessions, Buzz Bingo has sold exclusive purple and white bingo dabbers at its venues, donating £0.50 from each sale to the Stroke Association. Local clubs have also organised numerous fundraising events, including bake sales, head shaves, skydives and marathon runs.
