Gordon Moody has been named as the official charity partner for Redditch United for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Branding from Gordon Moody will be visible on the back of player shirts, as well as the responsible gambling charity holding a presence at The Valley Stadium.

This partnership builds upon a recent initiative by Gordon Moody to get more involved with sports, which saw the charity recently bring on Dean Sturridge and John Hartson as official ambassadors.

Monica Shafaq, Gordon Moody CEO, said: “This partnership with Redditch United is more than just branding – it’s about building a united front to tackle gambling-related harm head-on.

“With our flagship centre now open in the heart of the town, we’re deeply committed to supporting the local community.

“Football has the power to bring people together, and by working with Redditch United, we hope to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and ensure that no one feels that they have to face addiction alone.”

Gordon Moody also appointed Clarke Carlisle as its new Business Development Manager last month.

Good to know: Gordon Moody’s flagship residential treatment centre was opened in Redditch late last year, which provides specialised programmes for individuals experiencing severe gambling-related harm

David Faulkner, Redditch United Chairman, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Gordon Moody as our official charity partner.

“Their dedication to addressing gambling-related harms aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting the well-being of our community.

“Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.”
