DigiPlus appoints new CEO and CDO to lead next phase of digital growth

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has announced the appointment of two senior leaders following a board meeting on 19 June 2025. Mr Tommy Hu has been named Chief Executive Officer, while Mr Rick Li steps in as Chief Digital Officer.
Mr Hu brings more than 20 years of experience in software engineering and digital business strategy. He has played a significant role in DigiPlus’ transformation from a land-based operator to a leading digital entertainment brand in the Philippines. As one of the key figures behind BingoPlus, the country’s top digital bingo platform, he was instrumental in driving product modernisation and building immersive mobile-first experiences for users.
Prior to becoming CEO, Mr Hu contributed extensively to the company’s shift towards innovation and cultural relevance in entertainment, with an emphasis on responsible platform management. His background includes a senior technical position at Huawei and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Mr Li, the newly appointed CDO, brings 15 years of fintech and digital payments expertise, most notably from his previous role as Head of Solutions for South & Southeast Asia at Ant Group. There, he led technical strategy and operations across multiple product lines, driving digitalisation across the region.
Holding a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore, Mr Li is expected to lead DigiPlus through the evolving digital financial landscape and guide its innovation roadmap.
