Internet Vikings is celebrating its headway made as a hosting provider in the US since entering the market in 2021.

As of September 2024, 75% of the Swedish company’s revenue came via the US, primarily through hosting gaming clients.

That reach has extended even further in light of its partnership with SB Software and Editec.

Editec is a provider of lottery products and management services with a heavy presence in Africa and the Middle East and it already worked closely with SB Software, a software provider.

The principal issue Editec was faced with was avoiding bottlenecks on its server, an issue growth was exacerbating.

Seeking to put in place a growth-proof infrastructure, SB Software turned to Internet Vikings for its hosting expertise.

Kamil Glowacki, CTO at SB Software evaluates the partnership with high praise: “They provided clear performance benchmarks and a detailed roadmap that addressed our client’s exact requirements.”

The partnership between Internet Vikings and SB Software has reportedly yielded meaningful improvements to Editec’s operational efficency.

Previous strategies of adding storage had proved inefficient, but Internet Vikings’ implementation of a VMware vSAN-based cloud solution has proved highly effective.

This approach isoptimised for iGaming and the new set-up delivers up to 20,000 input/output operations per second per virtual machine.

The effective employment of specialist providers for specific growth-related issues within iGaming offers a significant lesson for Vikström, who claims: “This collaboration shows how purpose-built infrastructure and flexible platform solutions can transform operational outcomes.”
