Dr Stefan Tweraser is joining the Zeal Network SE as its new Chief Executive Officer, the German lottery provider has announced today.
Tweraser’s succeeds Dr Helmut Becker, who left his post as CEO to pursue other entrepreneurial avenues.
Tweraser has spent more than 20 years in various leadership roles at major companies like Google and Deezer and will now bring that experience to the lottery provider, which enjoys success with brands such as Lotto24.
Carola von Schmettow commented on Becker's tenure, saying: “He has continuously expanded Zeal's market leadership in the German online lottery market, strengthened the business model in a challenging regulatory market and broadened the portfolio in a targeted manner through innovative product developments such as the dream house raffle.”
The new CEO will hope to stay the course and build on the revenue surge that his predecessor has overseen in the first quarter of this year.

He will officially begin his new role on the 15th of September following on from his most recent role, also as CEO, at Rocket Factory Augsburg, which he concluded in April.
