Soft2Bet has announced a new partnership between its Romanian-facing brand Don.ro and Liga 1 football club CFR 1907 Cluj.
The multi-year agreement will see Don.ro become the main sponsor of the club, with its branding displayed on home and away kits, training wear and throughout the Dr Constantin Radulescu stadium.
The partnership begins with the 2025–26 season and will be accompanied by a series of digital and matchday activations.
Cristian Balaj, CFR Cluj President, said: “The fact that Don.ro is becoming the main partner of our club is both a validation of the work we do every day and an important step in strengthening CFR Cluj’s image both nationally and internationally.”

While Soft2Bet has developed a number of proprietary engagement tools for the Romanian market, not all features have been activated in the jurisdiction. The company has confirmed that certain products, including social gaming-style interfaces, are not currently in use, following regulatory guidance.
The partnership also includes a jersey giveaway to all season ticket holders and a shared emphasis on responsible play.

Soft2Bet has continued its international expansion throughout 2025. In March, it confirmed a market access agreement with Caesars Entertainment to launch a new brand in New Jersey, marking its first US entry. That followed recent launches in Greece (ElaBet.gr) and a full general gaming licence granted in Spain.
