Key points:

– Konami has received a gaming-related vendor licence from the UAE gaming regulator

– It joins a growing list of operators and suppliers currently licensed in the nation

Konami Gaming has been granted a gaming-related vendor licence from the UAE gaming regulator, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). 

With this licence, Konami will be able to provide its casino games and casino management systems to operators in the UAE, with its products available to regulated bodies including Wynn Resorts, which is set to open the nation’s first land-based casino at the start of 2027

It joins a range of suppliers also licensed in the UAE. Just this week, Light & Wonder also received a gaming-related vendor licence, joining IGT, Aristocrat, Novomatic and others. 

Konami Gaming primarily provides Class III random number generator (RNG) slot machines, as well as online gaming options. It also developed the Synkros casino management system.  

Good to know: Among others, Synkros is utilised by The Star and Ocean Casino Resort

The UAE joins a growing list of nations in which Konami is active. As well as the US, Konami offers products in Europe, LatAm, Asia and more. Recent launches include real-money online slots in Portugal and Paraguay, as well as the of introduction of Konami titles at PlayCity Casino in Mexico.
