As reported by The New Straits Times, police in Pahang are pursuing a man to assist with investigations into the theft of RM 3m in casino chips from a gaming room at Genting Highlands.
The incident was reported on 2 August by a 32-year-old manager from a junket company, who discovered the chips missing from a casino room that had been closed at the time. Authorities have yet to disclose the circumstances under which the chips were removed, though the incident bears similarities to a previous high-profile case.
