BC.Game signs sponsorship deal with Kwara United FC

Key points:

– BC.Game will be home and away shirt sponsor for Kwara United

– Deal runs for one Nigerian Premier Football League season but may be extended

– Kwara United competes in the top division of Nigerian professional football

BC.Game will be the main sponsor of Nigerian football team, Kwara United FC for the 2025/26 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

BC.Game has been making decisive moves into Africa and last week secured dual licences in Kenya allowing it to ply its trade in the country via its subsidiary, Blockdance Africa.

This newly announced step will see its branding visible on the home and away shirts of Kwara United, who compete in the top division of Nigerian professional football, having been promoted back in 2017.

The team plays in an 18,000-seater stadium in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, and the betting operator’s branding will be apparent all across the arena, as well as on the team’s digital media platforms.

Good to know: In the mid 2000s, Kwara United qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup under the management of Johan Eriksson, son of the late England manager, Sven Goran-Eriksson

There is an option within this partnership to extend it beyond the current season, but in its present state the deal will last for one year.

BC.Game withdrew its Curaçao licence late in 2024 following reports that its operating entities in the region had gone bankrupt in the wake of legal action being brought by players.

The operator has disputed the allegations and insisted that the move was a compliance-driven step and unrelated to any financial or legal issues.
