Star World Limited loses gaming license

The

Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has announced that Star World Limited's gaming license was suspended on 31 July 2017 in a report released on their website.

Although the specific reasoning as to why their license has been suspended indefinitely remains unclear, the company must suspend "all gaming operations, stop recording new players, suspend all transactions on all websites, including deposits and withdrawals, and send all the required data and documentation to the Authorities", the MGA states.

The MGA has fully removed any legality to operations which Star World Limited own and are associated with. "Any web site managed by Star World Limited, or associated with Star World Limited, does not have the Authority's approval to be operational.

"Due to the suspension of the licence, Star World Limited is therefore not authorised to continue conducting gaming by means of distance communications under an Authority licence”.
