Genting acquire Fox Club

The

Fox
Fox Poker Club has been sold to Genting Casinos.

The club – London’s only dedicated poker venue – was founded by Chris North and Ian Hogg in 2005 and opened in September 2010, having received a full UK Casino licence in 2008. The former PKR-sponsored venue now boasts over 20,000 members and is currently experiencing record week-on-week trading.

Managing director North said: “It was always a dream of mine to open a poker club in London and although it’s been a real challenge, with delayed openings and not getting our 24 hour licence until July this year, I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved. The club is in a great position to continue growing and we are very pleased that it is passing to such good hands. We wish the club and Genting all the success in the future.”

Chairman Hogg added: “We always knew there was a market for a poker club in the heart of London and it’s been a wonderful project to have been involved in. I’m immensely satisfied to see the Fox Poker Club develop into one of London’s best venues and I’ll be back to play games on a regular basis.”
