TVBet accepts ASA decision and thanks “respected competitor”

TVBet has told Gambling Insider it respects the Advertising Standards Authority’s (ASA) recent decision to ban one of its adverts after a complaint from BetGames.tv.

It is also worth noting the supplier had since stopped producing said adverts once an issue was initially raised.

However, TVBet confirms it respects the ASA’s contribution to the regulation of the UK market and will commit itself to "particularising" its market positioning.

In a statement provided to Gambling Insider, TVBet said: "We at TVBET respect the ASA contribution to the regulation of the UK advertising market and admit its decision on the slogans used.

"Going forward, we commit ourselves to strictly following the decision of the ASA and are grateful for pointing out our mistake to us. We thank all participants in the process for the time spent, as well as the respected competitor BetGames.tv for helping us to particularise our market positioning."
