From 19 August, cash poker will also be available at the Grosvenor Casino Golden Horseshoe and Grosvenor Casino Luton; a number of other casinos in England will launch cash poker on 20 August.

To advise players about safety and social distancing measures, Grosvenor Casinos has published a video with former heavyweight world champion boxer David Haye.

Due its health and safety restrictions, Grosvenor Casinos will not initially be offering tournament poker in clubs.

Russell Tamplin, head of poker at Grosvenor Casinos, said: "We’re over the moon to be able to welcome poker players back through our doors for cash poker games for the first time since March.

"The team have been hard at work ensuring that, when our customers do return, they do so in a manner that is safe for everyone, and strict health and safety measures will be in place across all our venues.

"Although tournament poker will not be returning just yet there’s loads going on at Grosvenorpoker.com, including the weekly Hayemaker bounty events with our newly sponsored player David Haye."
