Peter & Sons game portfolio goes live in Ontario

Game studio Peter & Sons has gone live in Ontario, with the company’s game portfolio now available via sites powered by iGaming operator SkillOnNet.

SkillOnNet is the technological base for online casinos including PlayOjo, GentingCasino and Slingo.com. It has also partnered with game suppliers to launch products across the globe. It launched Slingo in Spain in July and MGA Games’ portfolio in Portugal in May, while launching PG Soft’s portfolio of games across multiple markets in November.

The launch of Peter & Sons’ titles in Ontario marks one of several launches by SkillOnNet in the province, having launched four of its products in the region in June 2022.

Ontario has become a highly lucrative yet highly competitive market for iGaming following the province’s regulatory regime change in April 2022. We spoke with Canadian Gaming Association CEO Paul Burns and SVP, Canada of The Innovation Group Kevin Dennis in our January/ February issue of Gaming America on the subject.

Peter & Sons’ games have been created with the help of mathematicians, musicians and artists, with games in its portfolio including Barbarossa, Book of Books and Wild One.

Peter & Sons and SkillOnNet have had history in the industry, with the operator investing in the game studio back in January of last year. On the portfolio’s launch in Ontario, Head of Games at SkillOnNet Jani Kontturi said: “Peter & Sons is an important partner studio and so it was natural we would introduce its games to Ontario, which is proving to be a key market for us. This is a studio that loves to innovate, producing titles that are rich in pop culture and humour, as well as adventure and ancient myths.”

Business Development Director and Co-Founder at Peter & Sons Yann Bautista added: “We can’t tell you how excited we are to enter a whole new market and to reach a completely new audience. We’ve poured our heart and soul into creating these games and we’re thrilled that casino players in Ontario will now get to enjoy them, too.”
