High Roller and Playtech announce partnership for Ontario market

Key points:

– High Roller has partnered with Playtech to support its online gambling platform in Ontario

– The collaboration focuses on delivering a high-quality user experience in a regulated and growing market

High Roller has entered a partnership with Playtech to support its upcoming launch in Ontario’s regulated iGaming market.

Ontario remains an active online gaming market, seeing ongoing entry from new operators and fresh partnerships. For example, Ontario’s regulatory framework and growing player base have led to Playtech and SkillOnNet launching Eyecon titles here for the first time.

Under the agreement, Playtech will supply its technology to power High Roller’s platform and brand. The partnership aims to offer players in Ontario a reliable online gambling experience.

High Roller has submitted its application for an Internet Gaming Operator licence to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Subject to approval, the company expects to begin operations in the second half of 2025.

Playtech also confirmed its commitment to supporting regulated markets and providing technology to operators entering new jurisdictions.

Ben Clemes, High Roller CEO, stated: “Collaborating with Playtech in Ontario is an exciting step for High Roller as we continue to grow and evolve.

“Playtech’s well-established technology will be instrumental to our mission of providing a world-class entertainment experience for our players.”

Sergey Harutyunyan, Playtech CRO, added, “We are delighted to partner with High Roller as they expand into Ontario.

“Playtech’s technology is designed to support operators in regulated markets, and we look forward to working together to provide High Roller’s players with safe, innovative, and engaging gaming experiences.”

This follows Playtech’s work with ProgressPlay, where they launched more than 120 bingo sites across the UK.
