Hong Kong Jockey Club names Sarena Lin as Chief Transformation Officer
Sarena Lin will lead the newly created Transformation Office at the Jockey Club.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has confirmed that Sarena Lin will become its Chief Transformation Officer (CTO).
She will join the Board of Management and report directly to CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
In this newly established role, Lin will lead the Club’s Transformation Office, tasked with strengthening its position as a customer-centric, data-driven and agile organisation.
Her responsibilities will include designing a transformation roadmap, coordinating cross-divisional initiatives and embedding sustainable change across operations.
Lin brings international corporate experience spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas. She has previously overseen large-scale transformation programmes in leadership, strategy and human resources.
At Bayer AG, where she was Chief Transformation and Talent Officer, she managed a global operating model redesign and cultural change programme.

Earlier in her career, she was President of Elanco USA and EVP of Strategy and Marketing, while also holding senior positions at Cargill and serving as a Partner at McKinsey & Company.
Sarena Lin also holds an MBA and a Master’s in International Relations from Yale University as well as a Computer Science degree from Harvard University.
Founded in 1884, the Hong Kong Jockey is also Hong Kong’s largest taxpayer and one of its major employers.
