She regularly litigated cases in federal and local courts and conducted internal investigations for colleges, universities, governmental entities and businesses, representing corporate and individual clients in prominent and sensitive matters.

EMPLOYMENT

Wechsler came to Scientific Games from the law firm Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, where she was a partner. A full-service law firm, Schnader has offices in Pennsylvania, New York, California, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and Delaware.

Wechsler was a partner in Schnader’s Litigation Services Department in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Her practice focused on criminal defense and internal investigations, higher education and labour and employment law. Wechsler also previously served as executive deputy general counsel to the Governor of Pennsylvania’s Governor’s Office of General Counsel and spent 10 years as an assistant district attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

With the DA, she served as both assistant chief of the Policy and Legislation Unit and legislative liaison to the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. In the DA’s office, where she began her legal career, she tried over 50 jury trials to verdict and conducted grand jury investigations as a trial attorney in the office’s Homicide Unit. When she joined Schnader law firm, Wechsler also served as a Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

Part of Wechsler's job will involve maximising proceeds for lottery beneficiary funding as well as solidifying Scientific Games as the “partner of choice” for government-regulated lotteries. Founded in 1973, Scientific Games provides lottery, technology, gaming and analytics services to 130 customers in 50 countries. Scientific Games’ clients include government-sponsored lotteries and sports betting programs. Its products include instant games, data analytics, retail solutions and iLottery.
