MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Chang’s career has seen him consistently working his way up the corporate ladder across a broad range of companies, ultimately taking on a number of high-profile, leadership positions.

His financial background – studying both economics and accountancy at higher education institutes – has led to him specialising in the realms of reporting, accounting and finance across the companies that he’s worked for.

The most recent manifestation of these talents sees Chang operating as the Chief Financial Officer for GAN, an appointment that was announced in April 2024.

EMPLOYMENT

In 1999, Chang earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UC Irvine. During the back end of his time studying for this Bachelor’s, he also worked as a Senior Accountant for a private practice in Costa Mesa.

Following on from this, Chang went back to studying, earning himself a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 2005.

After completing his Master’s, Chang joined Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance department in September 2005.

After two years with the company, Chang was promoted to the title of Senior within the Audit and Assurance department in September 2007.

Finally, in September 2010 – following five years of strong performance for the company – Chang was promoted once more to the role of Manager of Audit and Assurance. He held this managerial role for just shy of two years before moving on in July 2012.

Immediately after this, Chang joined Edwards Lifesciences, a company involved in the medical device industry. In this company, Chang served as the Manager of Global Accounting Compliance – a role that he held for just over a year and a half.

Chang’s next move saw him going to Alorica, a company that he ultimately spent over seven years with. He originally joined the company as the Director of Financial Reporting in February 2014.

After two and a half years in this directorial position, Chang jumped up the ranks to take on the role of Vice President of Accounting and Reporting in June 2016. He held this role for five years before leaving the role, and the company, in September 2021.

Finally, Chang ended up with GAN, initially entering the company as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller. He held these positions for just over a year from September 2021 to December 2022.

Towards the back end of his time in these roles, Chang was appointed as the company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer in November 2022.

In April 2024, however, it was announced that Chang would be taking on the position permanently, being officially appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Regarding Chang’s appointment to this role, David Goldberg, GAN Chairman of the Board, commented: “I’d like to congratulate Brian on his appointment to permanently lead our finance team.

“Brian has proven his financial acumen having served as our interim CFO and he has the full backing of the board of directors.

“Brian’s proven leadership amongst the financial team and strong knowledge of accounting and financial controls leave us confident that he is the right person to guide us to a successful close of our merger with Sega Sammy.”
