Major Achievements

Chen Si served as Mohegan Inspire’s President and Representative Director from July 2023 until late 2025.  Under Si’s guidance, the Inspire Entertainment Resort recently opened its doors, hosting its official opening on Yeongjong Island in March 2024.

Si spent two years as Executive Vice President and the Head of Casino and Hotel at the Macau Legend Development Corporation. He also became the Vice President of International Marketing at Sands China.

Si’s versatile career path has seen him operate at a variety of hospitality & gaming companies, including stints with both Las Vegas Sands and China Sands. His extensive credentials have led him to a series of high-profile leadership positions – the most recent of which sees him assume the role of Chief Operating Officer at Resorts World Sentosa.

Career Highlights

Chen Si had, by any accounts, an impressive education. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s in Economics before attaining a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University.

This level of achievement continued into his career in the hospitality & gaming industry, where he held senior roles at Las Vegas Sands, Marina Bay Sands, and Macau Legend Development, before becoming COO at Resorts World Sentosa.

In 2022, he joined Inspire Entertainment Resort as COO before becoming Inspire’s President and Representative Director in July 2023.

His career started in 2007 as an Analyst for McKinsey & Company. The role involved formulating growth strategies, implementing cost-cutting measures, and overseeing procurement. He held the position for three years before moving on in July 2010.

In 2011, Si spent the year working as an Intern for Pontiac Land Group and a Summer Associate for The Blackstone Group – both positions enabled him to enhance his skills in finance and business.

Si joined Las Vegas Sands Corporation, where he worked as an Operations Associate for 10 months from June 2012 to March 2013. Si was the first hire for the Asia Leadership Development Programme, where he completed rotations in hotel operations, slot operations, sales, global gaming analytics, and international casino marketing.

This led to him joining Marina Bay Sands in April 2013, first working as the Director of Food and Beverage, before his responsibilities expanded and he took on the title of Director of Casino, Food and Beverage. In total, Si was with Marina Bay Sands for a year and a half.

Next, Si went back to working with Las Vegas Sands Corporation, this time stepping into the position of Director of Player Development for a nine-month stint.

Shortly after, Si joined Sands China. He initially entered the company as the AVP of International Marketing in May 2015. After a year and a half in this position, however, he moved up the ranks to take on the role of Vice President of International Marketing – a position that saw him oversee all facets of the company’s marketing operations.

Si held this role for just shy of four years before leaving to join Macau Legend Development in November 2020. Here, he worked as the Executive Vice President and the Head of Casino and Hotel, positions that he ultimately held for just under two years.

In Their Own Words

In August 2022, Si joined Inspire. He first joined the company as Chief Operating Officer before being appointed President and Representative Director of Mohegan Inspire in July 2023.

Under Si’s guidance, the Mohegan Inspire entertainment resort recently opened, hosting its official opening on Yeongjong Island, Korea, in March 2024.

However, in early 2025, Inspire Entertainment Resort removed its association with Mohegan and is continuing operations without the tribe.

As we begin this next venture for the Mohegan brand in South Korea, I am motivated by the promise of innovation, rich cultural exchange, and strengthened partnerships. This is an exhilarating new chapter for the brand, and I’m committed to steering Mohegan toward a future filled with inspiration and growth.
