MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

During his career, Martirosyan has built a portfolio of experience in financial services, corporate development and market expansion. His expertise in risk management and market analysis has helped to aid growth for employers in multiple industries, a point which is exemplified by the pivotal role he played in Digitain's expansion into multiple European jurisdictions during his initial year as Deputy CEO. 

EMPLOYMENT

Martirosyan's career began in academia as a lecturer at the State Engineering University of Armenia – a role that he held from 2005 to 2007.  

In 2006, Martirosyan entered the banking sector with HSBC Bank Armenia as a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager. Over the next decade, he progressed through various roles within HSBC, including Deputy Head of Commercial Banking (2008-2009) and Manager of the Loan Management Unit (2009-2010). 

From 2010 to 2015, Martirosyan served as Deputy Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC. He then relocated to London, taking on the role of Senior Business Risk and Control Manager for Global Commercial Banking at HSBC Bank (2015-2017). Returning to Armenia, he then became Head of Wholesale Credit and Market Risk (2017-2018), before advancing to Director of Corporate Banking/Head of Wholesale Banking (2018-2023). 

In 2020, Martirosyan became the President of the Board of Directors at the Armenian British Business Chamber, leveraging his understanding of corporate and financial ecosystems to foster stronger ties between Armenia and the United Kingdom.  

Following on from this, he made his gaming industry debut, joining Digitain Group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2023. 

Most recently, Martirosyan was appointed Group CEO of Imagine Live, (a subsidiary organisation of Digitain Group). This role – which he is set to undertake while maintaining his position as Digitain Group's Deputy CEO – will see him oversee the company's expansion across Europe, the United Kingdom and other regulated markets. 

Regarding his appointment to this new role, Martirosyan stated:
