Zeal, a German-based lottery provider, has appointed Stefan Harder as its VP New Business.
Prior to his appointment at Zeal, Harder was the Interim CCO at Heycar Group and Interim Chief Growth Officer at Rebike Mobility.
Additionally, Harder was also the Co-Founder, Owner and CEO of Jollydays, and an eCommerce and Start-Up Consultant at Stefan Harder Consulting.
As VP New Business at Zeal, Harder will report directly to CEO, Helmut Becker, as well as be responsible for the proprietary charity division, Deutsche Traumhauslotterie.
On the appointment, Harder said: "I am very much looking forward to further developing Deutsche Traumhauslotterie and establishing it as a permanent fixture in the lottery market.
"As a founder and entrepreneur, I have a great passion for building and expanding brands and see great potential in Deutsche Traumhauslotterie, which has already undergone a great development since its inception. Together with the team, we will now set the course for further growth."
Deutsche Traumhauslotterie, or The German Dream House Lottery, works as a social lottery, where players have the opportunity to win a house through the scheme.
This is facilitated through a budget for land, ancillary construction costs and further costs.
Helmut Becker, Zeal CEO, said: "Stefan Harder is a renowned industry expert with considerable expertise in brand creation and e-commerce.
"To establish and expand a brand like Deutsche Traumhauslotterie in the market, you need talents like him who proceed with unerring market intuition and know-how.
“With Stefan, we are proud to have exactly the right candidate on board to help our own charity lottery grow further."
This isn't the only development at the company, as Zeal launched its online games in Germany only recently.
