Supplier Playtech and operator FanDuel have inked a partnership aimed at introducing branded live casino content to the Canadian platform of FanDuel.
For FanDuel, this expands its live casino offerings in Canada, while Playtech continues its expansion across North America.
Playtech has established a dedicated live casino studio located in Riga, Latvia. This studio has been designed to cater to the needs of the Canadian market and the audience of FanDuel.
Playtech has recently constructed studios for games like Adventures Beyond Wonderland and Big Bad Wolf.
George Voyatzis, VP of Commercial for Playtech, shared his enthusiasm, saying: "Our partnership with FanDuel marks a really exciting moment for Playtech and we look forward to delivering our Live Casino games for FanDuel and its users across Ontario."
Dale Hooper, General Manager for FanDuel Canada, also expressed his pride in this partnership, noting that the FanDuel Live Casino studio is tailored to meet the unique demands of the Canadian market.
Playtech achieved a record revenue of €859.6m ($908.8m) in H1 2023, showing growth in both its B2B and B2C divisions. However, the company reported a decline in post-tax profits due to an investment in Hard Rock Digital.
In October 2023, FanDuel, in collaboration with the NBA, introduced a new initiative offering fans three months of access to the NBA League Pass, coinciding with the launch of 'The Pulse,' a feature enabling real-time betting on NBA games.
